Jenne Wax, MD

Dr. Jenne Wax is a board certified family physician at Treehouse Family Medicine in York, with 15 years in practice. She started her career in New York City, then worked on the North Shore of Massachusetts within the Beth Israel and Lahey system before moving to Portsmouth.

What she values most is the relationships she builds with patients and families, and she is committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental medical home where people are accepted as they are. Her interests include patients of all ages, backgrounds and genders, with particular focus on chronic disease prevention and management, women's health, menopause, transgender care and mental health support. She is also currently training to become a life coach, drawn to helping people shift their mindset toward living well in mind, body and soul.

She lives in Southern Maine with her husband, young daughter and son, and their Australian Shepherd.
