Divya Chauhan, MD founded UHeal Direct Primary Care in Ballwin to bring affordable, insurance-free healthcare to her community. She spent years working in a hospital setting before the COVID-19 pandemic showed her, up close, the public health and economic toll of the traditional system, and that experience pushed her to build something different.

At UHeal DPC, she cuts out the insurance middleman entirely, which lets her keep overhead low and pass those savings straight to her patients. Her approach centers on the doctor-patient relationship rather than paperwork and prior authorizations, giving people a more direct and old-fashioned way to get care.

She believes medical care should be affordable and convenient for everyone, and that conviction shapes how she runs her practice day to day.
