Bruce Cunningham, DO

Bruce Cunningham, DO, is a family physician and osteopathic distinguished fellow at UR Country Doc in Crosslake. He brings more than 30 years of practice experience, including three decades in Woodbury, Minnesota, before moving to the lakes area, where he has now practiced for over three years.

As an osteopathic physician, he offers a full spectrum of family medicine care with an advanced background in the musculoskeletal system, including osteopathic manipulation when it is indicated. He has stayed deeply involved in his profession outside the exam room too, serving two terms as president of the Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society and representing the state as a national delegate to the American Osteopathic Association House of Delegates. He also served on the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation and the National Osteopathic Board of Medical Examiners, and has mentored medical students rotating through his office over the years. Mpls/St. Paul magazine named him a Top Doctor in 2012, and in 2017 the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians recognized him with its Distinguished Fellow Award, an honor held by only 75 members.

Family has always mattered most to Bruce. He and his wife Pam have been married for more than 39 years and have four children and nine grandchildren.
