Ronald Vicencio, MD

Dr. Ronald Vicencio is a family medicine physician at V-Medcare in Tampa, Florida. He immigrated from the Philippines and was raised in Evanston, Illinois, by a nurse and a physician. A bachelor's degree in biology led him to the University of South Florida, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine.

He trained at the Bayfront Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in St. Petersburg, serving as chief resident. For nearly 24 years afterward, he worked as an employed physician in Oldsmar before deciding to start V-Medcare on his own.

Cooking is a real passion for Vicencio, who stays active in the Tampa Bay hospitality scene. He and his wife, Lisa, have two grown children.
