Zachary Smith, DO
Dr. Zachary Smith is a board-certified family medicine physician at Valley Direct Primary Care in Valley. He earned his medical degree from the Georgia Campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, then completed his residency at the University of Alabama Family Medicine Residency Program in Tuscaloosa, where he served as chief resident.
His approach centers on treating the whole patient, helping people build physical health while working toward their personal goals, whether those are spiritual, emotional, or mental. During his residency, he received two Resident Teaching Awards and a Resiliency Award for his service to the Tuscaloosa community during the 2020 pandemic.
A native of the Chattahoochee Valley, Dr. Smith now practices in the same region he grew up in.
