Phillip Burrer, MD

Dr. Phillip Burrer is a family physician and founder of Valor Direct Primary Care in Carmel. He earned his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and completed his family practice residency at UMass Chan Medical School.

With more than 25 years in primary care, urgent care, and telemedicine, he has cared for patients of every age and stage of life. That experience shaped how he practices now, with an emphasis on transparency, honesty, and integrity in every visit.

Dr. Burrer built Valor DPC around the idea that patients should look forward to their appointments rather than dread them. He works to build a genuine relationship with each person he treats, so they feel comfortable asking questions or raising concerns, and he continues to hold himself to a standard of going above and beyond what patients expect from their care.
