Bret Heerema, MD

Bret Heerema sees patients at Valor Direct Primary Care in Las Vegas, Nevada. He served in the United States Air Force for 37 years before moving into medicine. He graduated from the Air Force Academy with a degree in high energy physics, then went on to earn a master's degree in nuclear engineering and a Master of Public Health from Harvard University.

That path carried him into extensive clinical and executive medicine work, including time spent in austere environments. It is a career built on decades of military service paired with rigorous academic training, and that combination continues to shape how he approaches medicine at Valor.
