Lawrence Joseph McMaster, DO
Dr. Lawrence McMaster is a board-certified internist at Victors Care in Ann Arbor. A native of Lincoln Park, Michigan, he earned a biochemistry degree with honors from the University of Michigan-Dearborn before attending Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where he served as chief resident, then spent more than 25 years teaching resident physicians as part of the University of Michigan faculty before joining Victors Care in 2021.
McMaster treats chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, asthma and COPD, anxiety, and depression. He emphasizes preventive medicine, encouraging patients toward balanced nutrition, regular activity, stress reduction, restorative sleep, and avoiding harmful substances.
He and his wife, Colleen, spent more than 30 years in Novi before settling in Ann Arbor. Their son is a doctor finishing a residency in Cleveland, and their daughter is a certified wound and ostomy nurse in Columbus. McMaster fills his free time with family travel, new podcasts and audiobooks, exercise, and live theater and sporting events.
