Dr. Tim Romanoski, a native Marylander, is a Board Certified Family Physician, specializing in primary care and sports medicine. After spending two preliminary years in a surgery residency, he changed to family medicine, easily integrating his surgical skills to the practice of family medicine. He proceeded to further his training and entered into a primary care sports medicine fellowship providing musculoskeletal care to athletes and his family medicine patients. He has a philosophy that health goes beyond medication. A healthy lifestyle includes proper diet, exercise and optimization of hormones to when people are in their prime — promoting a higher quality of life. Dr. Romanoski graduated from Ross University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete two years of general surgery at St John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He then went on to a family medicine residency at Altoona Family Physicians. Here he learned the fundamentals of patient care and proper medical treatments. He continued to expand his knowledge and completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship at West Virginia University. He has worked with collegiate, high school and pro athletes, including the Chesapeake Bayhawks. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and two dogs.
