Carol Rupe, MD

Dr. Carol Anne Rupe is your personal family physician with more than 30 years of clinical family medicine experience. She moved to Roanoke Rapids from Charlotte, North Carolina in 2015 after recovering from a terrible auto accident.

Dr. Rupe brings more than 30 years of clinical family medicine experience, combined with 25 years of inpatient care for her patients, and over 25 years as a medical director for several long-term care facilities.

She is a former United States Air Force physician and understands the true meaning of service and the value of personal sacrifice.

Dr. Rupe received her undergraduate degree from University of Notre Dame and her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Malcolm Grow Medical Center, USAF, and a fellowship at UNC, Chapel Hill, NC.

She has clinical specialties in women's health, senior health, anxiety, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, emphysema, fibromyalgia, headaches, high blood pressure, memory disorders, osteoporosis, respiratory disease, and weight loss.
