Carol Rupe, MD

Dr. Carol Rupe is a family physician with WellCraft Health in Roanoke Rapids, bringing more than 30 years of clinical family medicine experience to her patients. She moved to Roanoke Rapids from Charlotte, and her background includes more than 25 years of inpatient care along with another 25-plus years serving as medical director for several long-term care facilities.

Before settling into private practice, she served as a physician in the United States Air Force, an experience that gave her a firsthand understanding of service and personal sacrifice. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, then completed her residency at Malcolm Grow Medical Center with the USAF and a fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill.

Her clinical interests run wide, spanning women's health and senior health alongside conditions such as anxiety, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, and osteoporosis, among others she treats regularly.
