Hello! I'm Charly, the founder and owner of Wellness Redefined. I have been an RN for 16 years and a Nurse Practitioner for 12.

I started my nursing career in the intensive care unit and worked in primary care and urgent care for 10 years as a nurse practitioner.

In 2020, I completed Doctorate of Nursing education with a focus in direct primary care followed by functional medicine certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine.

Since having children of my own I started questioning everything, and after 10 years in conventional practice, pushing pills for every illness and complaint, I realized I wasn't truly helping anyone.

So for the past 6 years my mission has been root cause medicine, figuring out the "why" when other practitioners won't, and preventing disease before it starts.

After discovering my passion for direct primary care and functional medicine, and with a little guidance from GOD, I realized the only way to help more people was to pave my own path. So in 2023 He opened the doors and shut some others and Wellness Redefined, LLC Functional Medicine and Direct Primary Care was born.

A unique healthcare model that thrives by getting patients healthy, not keeping them sick. Wellness Redefined exists because YOU deserve to be listened to and cared for holistically.

Wellness Redefined was started with the goals of providing patients with informed consent, collaborating on treatment options, and identifying approaches that address the ROOT CAUSE of illness and disease. You won't find a one size fits all approach here. I am here to provide whole person healthcare and develop a relationship with YOU, the patient.

When I'm not in the office you can usually find me outside on the farm with my husband of 11 years and three kids Kasen, Elsie, and Cleo. I love early morning gravel road walks with the sunrise, coffee, front porch sitting while the kids chase the chickens, and church on Sunday. I'm up for any outdoor adventure and love big family gatherings.
