I am an Internal Medicine physician with fifteen years' experience caring for adult patients. I am board-certified in Internal Medicine.
For the last ten years, I have been caring for patients in West Branch. After working as an employed physician for a hospital group, I have decided to open my own independent practice.
I received my medical education from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to medical school, I earned a Ph.D. in Molecular-Cellular Biology from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, and completed postdoctoral fellowships at the National Institutes of Health and the University of Michigan.
In addition, I received formal training and am board certified in Wound Care.
I live in West Branch with my husband Jonathan Berns, DDS, and our two sons Aaron and Zane. Our family has become happy members of the West Branch community and enjoys life in a rural setting.
