Elizabeth Meichsner, MD

Elizabeth Meichsner is a board-certified family medicine physician at Willow Creek Health in Chokio, Minnesota, with a focus on full-spectrum rural care. She grew up nearby in Morris and has shaped her career around serving the kind of community that raised her, believing care should be accessible, transparent, and unhurried rather than complicated.

Dr. Meichsner studied biology and nutrition science at the College of Saint Benedict before heading to medical school at the University of Minnesota, training between Duluth and Minneapolis from 2007 to 2011. She then completed her family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota's Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital, where she built the broad, comprehensive skill set that rural practice calls for.

She and her husband Eric, another Morris native, are raising their three young sons in the same town where they both grew up. Family time outdoors and staying involved in her hometown community round out her life outside the office.
