Rebecca Owen, DO

Rebecca Owen is a physician board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and geriatrics, practicing at Winding Brook Direct Primary Care in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, then trained in internal medicine with a primary care track at Bassett Healthcare before completing a geriatrics fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

She sees her role as a guide rather than a director, working with patients to set health goals and then adjusting the plan together as things change. Everyone is on their own path, and she considers it an honor to walk part of it alongside them. That approach shows in how she talks with patients, taking the time to learn their stories beyond the jobs, training, or diagnoses that might otherwise define a visit.

Rebecca has called Wolfeboro home since 2008. She kayaks, and jokes that it's the only thing that gets her up near dawn.
