Larissa Bell, NP

Starting as an EMT-B at the age of 16, I have held many positions in healthcare including administrative assistant and medical tech in my local ER during nursing school. I then completed 21 years of bedside nursing and leadership at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Cardiac ICU, Progressive Cardiac Care, Med-Surg Telemetry, and Palliative Care units.

I finished my Nurse Practitioner degree as a patient care coordinator in Interventional Radiology, and have gained experience as an NP in Primary Care and Endocrinology. Wing Health Services LLC and Wing Direct Primary Care were started in 2025 to help meet the healthcare needs of my church and local community.

The name "Wing" comes from two sources of inspiration: Proverbs 3:27 – "Withhold not good (WiNG) from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it." This Bible verse has shaped my approach to healthcare for over 20 years, using my love for God and the talents He gave me in medicine to serve others.

Just as a caterpillar undergoes a profound transformation to become a butterfly, health challenges can be the starting point for meaningful change. My role is to support you through those challenges and help you move toward a healthier, more empowered version of yourself.
