Margaret Zak, MD

Margaret Zak is a family medicine physician at ZakDPC in Grapevine, Texas. She knew from an early age that she wanted to become a physician, and she was finishing medical school when her family immigrated to America, settling in Chicago with her parents and two younger siblings. It was there that she met her husband, Jerry.

After their wedding, she matched into the Wichita Falls Family Practice Residency Program, where her training included work in the ICU and ER, high risk obstetrics and neonatal care, and assisting with surgical and endoscopic procedures. She and Jerry welcomed their children in Texas, and after residency she opened an independent practice at Electra Memorial Hospital. In 2013 the family moved to Grapevine, where she spent the next five years with Paladina Health. That experience introduced her to the direct primary care model and its patient centered approach.

A native of Poland, she enjoys performing traditional Polish folk dances at festivals around Texas.
