Wesley Eichorn

Wesley Eichorn is a board-certified family medicine physician and registered nurse at Citadel Health Center in Caledonia. He came to medicine after first working as a nurse, a path shaped by his desire to help relieve suffering, and that same drive eventually led him to open this direct primary care practice so patients could make more informed choices about their health.

He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University, completed a family medicine residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, and finished a fellowship in obesity medicine. His clinical focus centers on metabolic health, particularly insulin resistance, which he sees as connected to conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, PCOS, infertility and even some cancers. He believes many of these can be prevented or reversed through better nutrition and by supporting the body's own ability to regulate itself.

At home, Wesley spends time with his wife and their three children, tends his garden, and follows what Bitcoin might mean for some of the world's bigger problems.
