Susan Jevert-Eichorn

Dr. Susan Jevert-Eichorn is a board-certified family medicine physician at Citadel Health Center in Caledonia. Nicknamed "Doctor Blue Eyes" as a kid, she grew up believing healthcare was her calling, and she still centers her practice on patient-centered care for both children and adults.

She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rocky Vista University in Colorado, then completed her family medicine residency at Western Michigan University's Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, where she met her husband, Dr. Eichorn. From 2016 to 2022 she served on the WMed faculty, teaching full-spectrum family medicine including obstetrics. Her undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary mathematics comes through in how she works, since she likes to truly examine the evidence behind a treatment before recommending it. Women's and children's health and informed choice are particular interests of hers.

Susan is a full-time mom and wife, raising three young children with Dr. Eichorn, and the family enjoys spending time with extended relatives who live nearby.
