Kelsey McDonald, DO
Dr. Kelsey McDonald is a board certified osteopathic family medicine physician and the founder of Coastline Direct Primary Care in Scarborough. She has more than eight years of clinical experience and knew from childhood that she wanted to become a physician and serve her community.
After graduating from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, she chose family medicine because it fit her interests and goals. She enjoys the variety of patient visits it brings, along with challenging clinical cases and hands-on procedures in the office. Her deepest passion is preventing chronic disease and promoting health and wellness, and she shapes each treatment plan around the individual patient rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
She practices full spectrum family medicine, without obstetrics, with particular interest in adolescent care, women's health, and obesity and lifestyle medicine, and she has also developed a focus on caring for older adults, including those nearing the end of life.
