Sarah Gallo, MD

Dr. Sarah Gallo is a board certified family medicine physician at Coastline Direct Primary Care in Scarborough, where she has joined Dr. Kelsey McDonald. She moved to Maine in 2010 and never looked back.

After residency at Maine Medical Center, Gallo practiced full spectrum family medicine before settling into outpatient primary care. Ten years with Martins Point taught her the value of longitudinal relationships, seeing patients through life's ups and downs and treating the whole person rather than a diagnosis. That commitment to patient-centered care brought her to Coastline, working alongside Dr. McDonald. She's continuing her training in mental health and women's health, and sees both children and adults.

A gardener and poet who grew up in Bermuda, Gallo has taken up snowboarding and surfing since moving north. She spends free time with her teenager, Amelia, and Rumi, an 8 year old Havanese who doubles as the office's unofficial therapy dog.
