Dr. Lee Gross is a board-certified family medicine physician at Epiphany Health in Arcadia. He earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed his residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland, where he was elected chief resident. He then opened his own practice in North Port in 2002, a practice later named a multiple-time winner of the North Port Sun Readers' Choice Award for Best Physician.
Dr. Gross has also built a career in healthcare policy, helping establish North Port's 24-hour emergency care facility and working at the state level to repeal Florida's certificate-of-need laws. He has served in hospital leadership, led the Charlotte County Medical Society, and testified twice before the U.S. Senate on healthcare reform as a national advocate for Direct Primary Care. Governor Ron DeSantis appointed him to the Florida Board of Medicine in 2025, and the Florida Senate later confirmed him.
Originally from Ohio, he still considers hands-on patient care his professional home.
