Justin Whitley

Dr. Justin Whitley is a family medicine physician at Halcyon Health on Saint Simons Island. He grew up in Collierville, Tennessee, where an early love of biology grew into a calling for medicine. He pursued it at Delta State University and the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, graduating with highest honors in 2008 on a Navy scholarship. His Navy years took him from an internal medicine internship in Portsmouth to flight surgeon training in Pensacola and a Marine squadron in Beaufort, South Carolina. He left the service in 2013 to finish his family medicine residency alongside his wife. After several years as a hospitalist in Tennessee and then Georgia, he joined his wife at Halcyon Health, glad to see the difference it makes for patients.

Being a dad to his four children keeps him busiest of all, chasing along with their art, music, and sports. In whatever time is left he likes to run, lift weights, and read.
