Martin Huecker, MD
Dr. Martin Huecker is a board-certified emergency medicine physician who also practices lifestyle and functional medicine at Integrative Health Specialists in Louisville. He serves as Professor of Emergency Medicine and Research Director at the University of Louisville, where he sees patients full-time while teaching residents and students.
His research spans substance use, hypothermia, healthcare professional wellness, and mobile phone auscultation, and he belongs to the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies. He co-edits the open access Journal of Wellness and writes for his Practice of Wellness newsletter, reflecting a drive to learn everything he can about comprehensive health.
He loves books, cold trail runs, rucking, dogs, and coffee. His wife is an OB/Gyn, and together they're raising four kids with memorably cool names.
