Martin Huecker, MD, is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician who also practices Lifestyle/Functional Medicine. As Professor of EM (and Research Director) at UofL, he works full-time seeing patients and teaching residents and students. His diverse research interests include substance use, hypothermia, healthcare professional wellness, and mobile phone auscultation. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies.Dr. Huecker also serves as co-editor in chief of the free, open access [_Journal of Wellness_](https://ir.library.louisville.edu/jwellness/).
