Adam Courchaine

Adam Courchaine, DMS, PA-C, is the founder and Medical Director of NuMed Direct Primary Care in Centennial, Colorado. He brings more than 20 years of clinical experience across internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, urgent care, and primary care, and he started NuMed in 2018 to bring a relationship-centered approach back to medicine, built around time with patients rather than reactive treatment.

Courchaine earned his Doctor of Medical Science from Lincoln Memorial University and trained as a physician assistant at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, after beginning his career as an exercise physiologist and pulmonary technologist at Boston Children's Hospital. His clinical interests run toward metabolic health, hormone optimization, and longevity-focused care, and he has pursued advanced training in bioidentical hormone therapy through Worldlink Medical. He also serves as a Major in Aeromedical Medicine with the Colorado Army National Guard, with deployments to the Middle East and Kosovo.

He keeps active with his family and four dogs, favoring hikes, rucking, and functional fitness whenever he can fit them in.
