Dara Courchaine

Dara Courchaine is a registered nurse at NuMed Direct Primary Care in Centennial, where she works in patient integration and health insight. After earning a bachelor's degree from Hartwick College in 1996, she trained as an RN at Massachusetts Bay Community College. She then spent five years on a medical telemetry unit at Norwood Hospital in Massachusetts before moving into home health nursing, work that gave her broad experience caring for patients across the lifespan.

She joined NuMed in 2019, drawn to a practice built around prevention and whole-person care. Functional medicine training through the Kresser Institute now shapes how she helps patients make sense of complicated health histories, cutting through overwhelm so they can navigate their care with more clarity and confidence. Her focus stays on education rather than diagnosis or treatment, translating care plans into steps that fit real, everyday life.

At home, Dara shares life with her husband, Adam, their two children, and three dogs. A passion for healthy living keeps her outdoors hiking and exploring nature whenever she can.
