Therese Adams

Therese Adams is a nurse practitioner at Osteopathic Healing Arts in Mundelein, Illinois. A native of Mundelein, she is glad to be serving the community she grew up in.

Adams started her nursing career at the College of Lake County in Grayslake before earning her bachelor's and master's degrees from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Addison. As a registered nurse she worked across several hospital departments, from medical-surgical to orthopedics to oncology, and spent more than seven years at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion before becoming a nurse practitioner. It was there that she found her love of holistic nursing, watching doctors use homeopathy, supplements, and other complementary approaches to help patients heal and recover.

She feels fortunate to have joined Dr. Joseph Starkman's practice, which lets her bring natural treatments into her care while continuing to grow and learn.
