Dani Dupuis is a nurse practitioner at Phoenix Rising Family Medicine in Salem. She knew she wanted to be a nurse at age 12, and she went on to earn her bachelor's in nursing from OHSU in 2007, followed by eight years in acute care before completing her master's in nursing at Gonzaga University in 2015.
After years of struggling to find real satisfaction working within the traditional healthcare system, Dupuis and her husband, Joel, founded Phoenix Rising Family Medicine in 2016. Their goal was to give providers the autonomy to deliver individualized care, so they can partner with patients to actually reach their wellness goals rather than just checking boxes. That partnership is still what she loves most about the practice.
A native Oregonian, Dupuis spends her summers outdoors with her family, whether that means backpacking, kayaking, or mountain biking through the mountains near home.
