Kira Biron

Kira Biron is a nurse practitioner at Phoenix Rising Family Medicine in Salem. Biron spent nearly ten years as a bedside nurse in the intensive care unit before moving into primary care, working as a staff nurse, a resource nurse for fellow ICU nurses, and a rapid response nurse for the entire hospital.

That time at the bedside shaped how Biron practices today. Watching chronic disease and everyday lifestyle choices affect patients and their families up close built a drive to work further upstream, and becoming a nurse practitioner turned that experience into a full-time focus on prevention and long-term care.
