Tessa Reinke, MD, FAAFP is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who founded Polaris Medical to provide excellent primary care for all ages, focusing on patient education, wellness, disease prevention, and chronic disease management. She studied Sociology and Public Health at Dartmouth College and completed medical school at the Dartmouth-Geisel School of Medicine. At Texas A&M Family Medicine Residency, she undertook intensive training in women's health and has explored her interest in international medicine through clinics in Kenya, Honduras, and Papua New Guinea. After residency, Dr. Reinke worked as a full-spectrum family medicine physician in rural eastern Washington and then in North Idaho. She is passionate about proactive, preventative, person-centered healthcare — using food, sleep, and physical movement as tools to improve and maintain health. Outside of work, Dr. Reinke loves to travel and explore new places with her husband and young children. She enjoys hiking, running, listening to audiobooks, and discovering new recipes.
