Ingrid Liu, DO

Dr. Ingrid Liu is the owner and director of Progressive Health Primary Care in Oak Park, where she has practiced family medicine for over twenty years. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, her osteopathic medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her family medicine residency at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park. She was drawn to family medicine for the variety of conditions it lets her manage and the chance to know patients' whole lives across different cultures.

For years she worked as a partner in a primary care clinic and as a physician within a large multi-specialty organization, watching more of her time go to insurance rules and less to patients. That pushed her, in 2014, to open PartnerMD's first Chicagoland office, a concierge practice based in Hinsdale. She returned to Oak Park in 2016.
