Michael Bianco, DO

Dr. Michael Bianco is a board-certified internal medicine physician and co-founder of Bianco Primary Care in Alpharetta, with more than 25 years in practice. Medicine drew him in early, but before medical school he spent three years teaching Italian language and literature at Florida State University. He went on to earn his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he served as both chief medical resident and chief intern.

Dr. Bianco believes the body can heal when given a strong foundation, so he leans on movement, nutrition, sleep, and daily habits as much as anything else. He listens closely, lays out options clearly, and prefers making decisions together with his patients rather than for them. Exercise and nutrition are subjects he especially likes digging into with patients.

At home, Dr. Bianco and his wife, Dr. Shelley Bianco, are raising six children, and he stays active through weightlifting, walking, and regular exercise.
