Shelley Bianco, DO

Dr. Shelley Bianco is a board-certified internal medicine physician and co-founder of Bianco Primary Care. With experience in both hospital and outpatient settings, she brings a broad understanding of caring for patients with diverse medical needs, from complex conditions to everyday wellness. Her work is grounded in building meaningful relationships and providing thoughtful, personalized care that supports the whole person. Dr. Shelley's path to medicine: Dr. Shelley began her career as a hospitalist after completing her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. While the hospital environment strengthened her skills in managing acute and complex medical issues, she ultimately felt called to primary care, where she could form long-term relationships and focus on prevention as well as treatment. She earned her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, a master's degree in aging studies from the University of South Florida, and a bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of Florida. How Dr. Shelley approaches care: Dr. Shelley believes great care comes from a true partnership between doctor and patient. She approaches each visit with curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to listening first. Her philosophy centers on the understanding that patients are experts in their own lives, and that her role is to guide, educate, and support them as they navigate their health. Her whole-person approach considers lifestyle, nutrition, environment, emotional well-being, and long-term goals. She strives to make patients feel known, comfortable, and confident sharing what matters most to them.
