Kelly Barker, DC

Dr. Kelly R. Barker, DO, is a family medicine physician at Direct Healthcare in Scottsdale, Arizona. She blends traditional osteopathic practice with complementary and alternative approaches, building a family-centered focus on physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness that draws on osteopathic manipulative therapy, women's health, diabetes and thyroid care, and musculoskeletal injections.

Barker's path to medicine started before she ever set foot in a clinic. She studied neuroscience at Brown University, where her research looked at back pain, then spent time teaching high school before her pull toward integrated health brought her back to school. Her medical degree came from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, and she completed her family medicine residency at the Heuser Family Medicine Center with Scottsdale Healthcare.
