John Dygert, DO

John Dygert is a Family Medicine physician at Pinnacle Advanced Primary Care in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He earned his medical degree from Kansas City University in 2009 and completed residency in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2012.

He then spent five years as a full-scope Family Medicine doctor in Colby, Kansas, handling inpatient medicine, obstetrics including c-sections, and emergency room coverage, while also directing Emergency Medical Services and the county health department and serving as deputy coroner. That stretch, he says, gave him an intricate view of how health care actually works. He calls Pinnacle Advanced Primary Care the realization of a dream he first had in 2014, one he believes can help fix what ails American health care.

He and his wife, Jilinda, have five children in Colorado Springs schools, and he's an avid outdoorsman who follows the Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Reds, and Ohio State athletics.
