Dr. April Lynch is a board-certified Family Medicine physician at Pinnacle Advanced Primary Care in Colorado Springs. She earned her osteopathic medical degree from KCUMB in Kansas City in 2004 and trained at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis, Washington, while on active duty, later becoming board certified in Family Medicine in 2007.
Dr. Lynch spent years practicing military medicine, including a stint as medical director for Army Medical Clinics in Germany, where both of her children were born, and later as a regional leader who helped transform more than 40 clinics into Army Patient-Centered Medical Homes. Originally from Paonia on Colorado's Western Slope, she returned to the state in 2015 to lead the Mountain Post Army Medical Home before leaving Army medicine in 2017 to practice Direct Primary Care.
Her family spends Colorado summers camping and winters snowboarding, and she brings that same varied experience to the individualized care she now offers at Pinnacle.
