Dr. Elise Hogan, MD, MPH, Dip-ACLM, FAAFP is a board-certified family medicine physician bringing clinical expertise and an integrative approach to Total Access Medical in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr. Hogan is a native Delawarean who finds deep fulfillment in caring for the community she calls home. What sets Dr. Hogan apart is her commitment to treating the whole person, not just the condition. She holds dual board certifications in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine, and is currently completing a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona. She is also trained through the Institute for Functional Medicine, which uses a comprehensive approach that seeks to identify and address the root causes of illness rather than simply managing symptoms. Dr. Hogan is a passionate advocate for women's health, dedicated to helping women navigate every stage of life with confidence. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, bringing compassion and expertise to the care of women experiencing hormonal transitions. She co-developed a resident wellbeing curriculum at ChristianaCare centered on gardening, culinary medicine, and food as medicine, a reflection of her belief that healing is inseparable from how we live. Outside of work, Dr. Hogan embraces that same philosophy in her own life – tending to her garden, getting lost in a good book, exploring local hiking trails, and unwinding with crochet.
