Samantha Bouchie

Dr. Bouchie is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician originally from Vincennes, Indiana. Dr. Bouchie was a Lilly Scholar and decided to complete her undergraduate training at the University of Evansville, followed by medical school at Indiana University. She completed her internal medicine residency at Ascension St. Vincent hospital in Indianapolis, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. For the last decade, Dr. Bouchie has enjoyed practicing traditional primary care in the Indianapolis area as well as working in leadership. During the course of her career Dr. Bouchie has most enjoyed the opportunity to be a lifelong learner. It has always been at the forefront of her clinical practice to leverage evidence-based medicine and the newest research and advancements that healthcare has to offer. She has been a leader in healthcare quality, working passionately to help shape best practices for the outpatient management of chronic conditions such as diabetes. Dr. Bouchie believes patients benefit when their physicians are open and attentive communicators who are skilled and passionate about practicing preventative medicine. Outside of the professional world, Dr. Bouchie feels incredibly grateful for her supportive family. Along with her husband, Doug, she has three children who bring immeasurable joy and purpose to life. She greatly enjoys being with her family, being outside, gardening, reading, and taking in almost any sporting event.
