Jonathan Schmidt

Dr. Jonathan Schmidt is a board certified family medicine physician at Priority Physicians of Carmel in Carmel. He earned his undergraduate degree in microbiology from Southern Illinois University before heading to the University of Illinois for medical school.

After graduation, Schmidt moved to South Bend, Indiana, to complete his family medicine residency at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, where he served as chief resident in his final year. During that residency he sought out direct practice medicine experience, and he's excited to practice in a way that lets him put patients first.

He and his wife, Cristal, have three children, Kiptyn, Kenley, and Kutler. Outside of work, he likes getting outdoors, especially water sports, and spends time woodworking.
